Function of pre-stressed vacuum insulated tubing:
1. reduces the heat loss, certainly the steam quality and the depth of steam injection can be increase.
2. minimizes heat stress on caing and cement mantle, protect the casing from damage by high temperature.
3. during oil production it will provide superior insulation and greatly reduce the loss of heat energy.
Structure of pre-stressed vacuum insulation tubing:
Character of pre- stressed vacuum insulated tubing.
1. the pre-stressed will compensate the tubing expansion caused by temperature difference betwween the u inner and the outer tubes so as to ensure reliabler operation under high temperature.
2.gas absorbing materials are packed inside the annulus to clean up harmful gas an maintain good insulating property whilst in serice.
3. the insulated technology such as vacuum pumping, heat reflection and heat convertion has been appliers to achieve the super insulated property of insulated tubing.
The vacuum insulated tubing applies to such operating condition as the temperature of heat carrier is not over 350 ℃. The insulated tubing mainly applies to steam thermal recovery well with “huff and puff” and “steam drive” as well as heavy oil well with “integration of production and injection”. Using vacuum insulated tubing correctly can not only reduce the heat loss of steam injection and guarantee steam quality but also decrease casing deformation and protect cementing casing.
The thread of vacuum insulated tubing is API buttress thread. With PTFE sealing ring in the coupling and insulated liner in the annular space between inner and outer tube, they can not only assure positive confinement among pipe strings and connection reliable but also insure the laminar follow state of steam injection and reduce the resistance of steam transport and heat loss in the coupling.
Vacuum insulated tubing is manufactured in accordance with the standard of SY/T5314-94 Vacuum insulated tubing. Insulated tubing with different performance grades can meet the needs of thermal recovery for heavy oil, super heavy oil with different depth and horizontal well.
